Top Level Profile Categories

We Require the SKA Date software modified to allow us to add/edit/delete TOP LEVEL CATEGORIES which will hold their own profile fields and sections. The current profile section in the back end is what we need for EACH top level category.

The categories are:

• General
• Dating
• X-Rated
• Friendship
• Guy / Guy
• Girl / Girl
• Support Needs

Each Category requires an UNLIMITED amount of profile fields and sections. These profile fields will ONLY be able to be searched / available in the user profile section depending on whether the user has selected this category to be in or not.

All users will be a part of the General category by default. Users can be in multiple categories and need the ability to add/remove themselves from any of the categories as they see fit, however they can NOT remove themselves from the General Category. The user must also select one other Category when signing up. The user must also have the ability to set individual categories private if they wish.

When searching, ONLY the appropriate search fields will display depending on what Category the user has selected in their profile. Users can only interact/search/find/see who’s online/friend request with other users who are in at least one or more of the same categories as they are (outside of the General Category). ALL front-end pages must reflect the new top level categories, rules and variables.

Example 1:
John has selected to be in the Dating and X-Rated category, he can ONLY search other profiles in the same categories as what he has selected, the only exception to that rule is if a user is in a category but has selected it to be kept private for that one of those particular categories.

Example 2:
John is looking for someone with Brown Hair (Profile field from the General Category) and who likes to go to the movies (Profile field from the Dating Category). John has only selected Support Needs and Dating in his profile.

Jane has selected Support Needs and Friendship for her profile. She has Brown Hair and likes to go to the movies.

Lisa has selected that she is in Dating and Friendship in her profile, who also has Brown Hair and likes to go to the movies, but Lisa has also selected that she wants the Dating Category kept private.

So therefore, John can ONLY see Jane in his search results as a result of Lisa setting her Dating Category to private.

Example 3:
Lisa has selected Dating and Friendship in her profile, she has selected that she wants the Dating Category to be kept private. She can still search other users who are in Dating and Friendship, even though she has chosen the category to be kept private on her own profile. She will be able to find John in her search results - even if he can’t find her.

Example 4:
Lisa found John in her search results and she sent John a message. John went to Lisa’s profile to see more information about her. As Lisa has chosen the Dating Category to be kept private, then John will NOT be able to see ANY of her profile answers for Dating. He will only be able to see the profile answers for Friendship.

Example 5:
John wants to add Lisa as a friend, but John can ONLY add Lisa if they are in one or more of the same Categories. Lisa MUST approve the friendship request before John can post a message on her profile or interact with anything on her profile (eg. rating photos/videos etc).
